The 6 Ankh
The 6 Ankh
Handcrafted in Pure Copper on 3.7.2021
Just finished this ankh today, "The 6 Ankh," in Pure Copper. Pure Copper is a strong conductor, so when you wear it, you’re introducing it to your biomagnetic field, and it improves your blood circulation, improving your mental, emotional, and physical health, and it is is antibacterial so it helps to heal you while you are sick and helps to prevent you from being sick in the first place. Wearing Pure Copper gives mostly physical benefits, as opposed to silver, which is more of a mind-enhancing metal, and as opposed to gold, which is more of a spiritual life enhancing metal. This piece embodies my energy and helps its wearer have more energy and motivation to take action and continue moving forward on their journey to freedom. The specific intention of this piece was to help the person who wears it, to take care of themselves and other people in their lives, and give love to themselves and other people in their lives. This piece was named The 6 Ankh because it was made on 3/7/2021, and when you add the numbers in the date (3+7+2+0+2+1), you get 15, and 1+5=6, so 6 is the essence of this date, and I understand 6 as the number of self love and self care, as well as loving others and caring for others, so that is what I felt today was about, and every “6 Day” (this is what I call each day whose numbers add up to 6) is about (and 6 Days happen about once every 9 days, just like 2 Days and 7 Days and 8 Days and such… tomorrow will be a 7 Day).
Fun fact: The Opening of the Mouth Ceremony is an ancient Kemetic/Egyptian ceremony in which a Ptah or craftsman/artist brings life into their art by speaking, saying something out loud that brings or breathes life into the art, so that the piece of art becomes a living being which carries the energy of the artist/Ptah. And so, I actually perform this ancient ceremony with every piece of jewelry I create, after I'm done creating the physical design, I infuse my spirit into it by holding it to my heart, with my right hand over my left hand over the piece (masculine energy dominant), and I say "Anuk Ptah Seker Heru" out loud to bring life into the piece. As I'm doing this, I'm doing a process called "Ankhing," that is, circulating my energy in the shape of an ankh. While I'm saying, "Anuk Ptah Seker," meaning "I am craftsman wielding spiritual power," I'm inhaling, and channeling the energy up from my sacral chakra, out of my back, over my head in an arc, back into my chest, up to my head, then I say "Heru," meaning "on the righteous path to absolute freedom" as the energy from the universe floods down from my head out of my back to form spiritual wings, and I feel the heartbeat of the piece against my own.
And then the piece is alive.
